Looking ahead to 2024

Hello lovely readers! This is it... the final issue for 2023. I can't believe how quickly the year has flown. I know we must say this every December, but this year feels like the quickest yet. To help you keep on top of all that has happened in 2023, take a look at our CPD module for the key clinical developments round up of the year - and see how much has changed!

As we look to the New Year, we can expect pharmacy to enter the digital age more and more. Wales has now too joined the world of electronic prescriptions and I'm sure this is just the beginning.

The Public Eye feature this month further delves into the use of artificial intelligence (Al) in medicine and pharmacy and is something I'm sure we will all be having to get our heads around more and more.

Our winter health feature is a crucial one for this time of year, with specific advice especially to protect the heart, lungs and skin from the cold air.

Finally, we will be looking to start our Recognition of Excellence Awards process once again in January so do look out for more news on #RoE24 coming soon.
